Apicius Korea is the sister school of Apicius International School of Hospitality.
Established in July 2018, it aims to introduce Italian culinary arts and culture in South Korea. This is done by allowing the students to learn from established professionals of the hospitality and culinary fields, exposing the students not only to their professional knowledge but also to Italian culture itself.
Situated in the city of Ulsan, in the southeastern end of the Korean peninsula, Apicius Korea offers a hands-on approach and professional training that prepares students for the professional world after graduation. The campus features state of the art classrooms and laboratories where students can sharpen their skills with the Apicius methodology combined with an East Asian perspective.
The campus is home to a fully functioning restaurant and a fully functioning bar, these spaces are real enterprises where students gain hands-on experience by applying and improving their skills. The building features classrooms for hospitality and wine studies, culinary and pastry labs, and lab aimed at barista training. Last but not least the rooftop area is equipped with a lounge, locker area, and library where students can relax and enjoy panoramic views of the city, it also serves as a space to host the school’s special events.
