Enrichment programs are a learning opportunity for diverse categories, from visitors to professionals. The following options are available for enrichment learners wishing to seek a unique gastronomic experience in Florence.

CULINARY AND WINE
Programs for individuals, small groups (2-4 participants), medium groups (5-10 participants), and large groups (11-20 participants). The following activities can be organized as a single day experience or combined for an extended period of time, if desired: Italian for survival language lesson, cooking classes, wine appreciation*, gastronomic walking tours, market tours, tours of cooking supply shops, shopping tour, meals in a Florentine restaurant with a culinary expert, lectures on Italian products with tastings, dinners in a private Tuscan home, Tuscan castle wine and food tasting tour.
*Wine appreciation classes are divided into 3 categories: Tuscan wines (basic), Italian wines (intermediate), Italian and Super Tuscan wines (advanced).
WEEKLY PROGRAMS AND 2-WEEK PROGRAMS
Combine group and one to one instruction for cooking classes, wine appreciation, and Italian language classes to become a culinary expert. 3-week programs combining 6 to 9 cooking and wine classes are available. Weekly culinary topics offered include Italian regional cuisine, Tuscan cuisine, Italian vegetarian cuisine, the Italian food feast, and intro to Italian wines.
The 2-week Gusto Workshop programs offer 14 hours of group classes (cuisine and wine) and 10 hours of private individual tutoring on the chosen thematic area. Areas offered include: grocery shopping in Italy, cuisine as a cultural landmark, Italian pizza and breads, fresh pasta workshop, traditional holiday sweets in Italy, the Mediterranean diet, traditional preserves and fresh herbs, pairing food and wine, olive oil, cold cuts and cheeses in Tuscany, table setting and decoration arts, food styling and photography, flower composition and arrangement, Italian ices-gelato-sorbets.
CUSTOMIZED PROGRAMS FOR CUISINE AND ART LOVERS
What could be better than combining culinary art and visual art in Florence? Museum visits, lectures on Renaissance Art and Cuisine, visits to farms and wineries, special market tours and dinners in the best restaurants with culinary experts. The most renowned Florentine Chefs along with Art Scholars will walk you through the Florentine and Tuscan experience, teaching you the real “Italian Art of Living.”
3-WEEK PROGRAM: LA VITA E' BELLA
This program is offered in collaboration with sQuola as mentioned above and focuses on Italian language, food culture, and society.
